Yesterday I was looking for the Halloween pillow covers to put out. These are decorative fabric envelopes I made to cover pillow inserts. They give a festive look on my couch and chair. I found one but couldn’t find the other. So much for putting things away last year. After looking for awhile I got frustrated and gave up.
Today I decided to look again. I knew it was somewhere in this house. So I took a look where my sewing fabrics were. Sure enough it was there the whole time. I just overlooked the day before.
The moral of this story…. put things away at the end of the holiday all together in one box. It will save a lot of frustration and time next year.
