Halloween is Creeping Closer

The days are getting shorter. The weather is cooling down. The kids have been back in school for 4-6 weeks now. Halloween is Creeping Closer.

Soon you’ll be seeing ghosts, goblins, and witches showing up all over the neighborhood streets.

Are you ready for the invasion?

Preparing for Halloween

There’s a lot to do to prepare for Halloween. Over the years I’ve written many blog posts and even an eBook about how you can prepare for the holiday.

With costumes, decorations, trick-or-treating, and parties, you want your children and yourself to enjoy it as much as possible. But it’s also important to make sure everyone stays safe. That means having costumes that are safe to wear. It also means decorations are safe for trick-or-treaters coming to your front door or party guests in your home.

Below are the links to the blog posts and the eBook on Halloween. There are lots of tips and ideas to help you have a safe and fun holiday.

But life happens. …

Give Clutter Free Gifts

Christmas treeOver the years I have written several blog posts with ideas for clutter free or almost clutter free gifts for Hanukkah and Christmas.  Since my  mother and mother-in-law had mentioned years ago that they didn’t need or want  more things to fill their homes I’ve done plenty of research to come up with different ideas.

When my mother was moved to a nursing home in 2014 and we had to go through her entire house to sell it, I was glad she told us not to get her more “things”.  She did not have a lot of clutter laying around but there was still plenty of stuff to go through in a her three bedroom home. She has since passed away but I still have some things to go through. …
