This coming Saturday, May 9th is the National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. You may have received a notice and/or plastic bag in the mail to remind you. With the way the economy has been more and more people have had to turn to the food banks and pantries. This is a good chance to help out our “neighbors”.
This is also a good time to go through your pantry. Throw away any items that are expired. If you have plenty of items on the shelves that are still good think about sharing some by putting them in the bag and leaving it at your mailbox on Saturday.
